- Visit  Elephant Village for Elephant at work show : The daily afternoon Elephant Show, 14.30 hrs., demonstrates training and forestry skills of working elephants. The programme begins with bathing time, follwed by demonstrations of training for timber work, round-ups and other skill training techniques. The show finished with a performance of the Glong Sabad Chai ceremony with a war elephant and a short ride on an elephant.
* The Pattaya Elephant Village is a private sanctuary dedicated to saving sick and injured elephants. Our only support comes from our visitors.
The elephant round-up.. At the elephant Village is literally a gathering of elephants. There gigantic beasts have long been the backbone of heavy work in the jungles of Thailand. Nowadays, lack of timber work means that, we must help the elephants by finding other income for them. Here, by joining our programmers, the visitor helps us to support them.
